Jeremy Sirio

"The future belongs to those who prepare for it today."

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, I never let the small-city atmosphere compromise my metropolis-sized dreams. Throughout grade school, I tested myself to the best of my ability and took advantage of every opportunity before me. After graduating from the prestigous Health Science Academy at Foy Moody High School, I attended nationally ranked Del Mar College in order to earn my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts.

It was my Junior year at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, that I had an epiphany, and knew what I wanted to spend my life doing. After earning my Bachelor of Arts at TAMUCC, I began my campaign towards a Master's degree just two weeks later. After 14 months of hard work and dedication, I was able to earn my graduate degree focusing on what I love most: Public Relations and Crisis Communication.

What drew me to public relations and crisis communication was the idea of preparing for the absolute worst-case scenarios. It's elementary to accomplish tasks when everything is going right, but I feel that the most defining characteristic in a person is how they respond when scenarios are at their worst.

Studying public relations and more broadly, communication, molded me into the person I am today. A strong work-ethic, critical thinking skills, and a passion for learning are characteristics that were sharpened throughout my academic career. I hope to continue to develop those skills and grow not only as a student, but as a human being.

With a finite amount of time on this planet, my ultimate goal in life is to be successful. My ambitions are abstract for reason: so that I never settle throughout my journey. If success were measured by skyscrapers, then I want to continue to build my high-rise beyond the stars.

Currently, I am taking advantage of the opportunity to give back to my community by leading tomorrow's future in the classrooms of my Alma-Mater. As an Adjunct Instructor of Communication, I cherish the chance to build my skills as a leader and develop the abilities of those who enroll in my classes.

Outside of the workplace, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have a 12 year-old mixed terrier known as "Oliver" who has seen me grow from a middle school teen to a career-oriented adult.

I try to volunteer whenever possible to local organizations. I am currently learning technical media while volunteering at a local congregation. I've also offered services to organizations such as Goodwill, Trisun Care Center, and Relay for Life.

I revel in studying new media, listening to jazz and rap music, viewing satire films, and consuming spicy tuna rolls. If you ever have any questions feel free to contact me via social media or through the "contact" tab on this website.
